Strathmore Lodge 53

“The purpose of my work was never to destroy but always to create, to construct bridges, because we must live in the hope that humankind will draw together and that the better we understand each other the easier this will become.”

Welcome to Strathmore Lodge # 53's web site!

We are registered under the Grand Lodge of Alberta AF & AM and have been active in the Strathmore community for over 100 years.  You might be surprised to discover your neighbour, co-worker or close friend is a member.

Our Meetings: We meet the first Monday each month, except July and August. We start our meetings at 6 pm with a meal, which lasts about one hour. The remainder of the meeting typically lasts until 10 pm.  If you would like to come along for the meal and meet us, just go to the Contact Page and get in touch with any of us. We would be happy to meet you.

At present, we are looking for a new meeting place in town. Until we find a suitable location, we are meeting in the Community Hall at Namaka, which is a 10 minute drive from Strathmore (Map on Contact Page).

As an organization, we strive to do good work within our community. Over the years, Strathmore Lodge has given tens of thousands of dollars to different charities and organizaions in and around Strathmore. We also volunteer at local charity events.

If you are a Brother browsing this web site, welcome! If you have not been to Lodge for awhile, please do make an effort. We will welcome you back and make you feel at home.  If you want to know more about us, please contact anyone on the Contact List. Remember this one thing, most Masons love to talk.

Please enjoy your visit to our website.  We hope to meet you soon!
